I would like to thank the Shawnee Mission School District sixth grade teachers who have greatly influenced the development of my theory, especially Mrs. Kite, Mrs. Hillmen, Mrs. Budke, and Mrs. Reynolds by continuously teaching innovative ways to solve problems. I would also like to thank my fifth grade teacher Mrs. Wagler as I proposed the idea to my parents a couple weeks after graduating 5 th grade and she inspires creativity. I would like to thank Money Smart KC; I have been taking Money Smart KC financial education classes and attending Money Smart KC events since I was four years old. I used many of the referenced resources from the Money Smart KC website to write this paper. I would like to thank Dr. Patricia Palmer, Curriculum Consultant, UMKC and Professor Rob Catlett, Director, Centers for Economic Education & Community Research, Emporia State University. These two professionals originally heard the idea in the summer of 2018 and recently reviewed my theory for feasibility. I would like to thank my uncle Scott Housel, a teacher of advanced mathematics in Westerville, Ohio. He also reviewed my work and considered the feasibility of implementation. I would like to thank my father who worked with me almost an entire year to finalize the BJD 2040 theory. My father took me on multiple financial education seminars across the Midwest and spent much time discussing theories to help low -and moderate-income families build wealth. We spent many early mornings and late nights researching my theory and discussing implementation options and preparing my findings in this paper. Thank you to my mother who provides inspiring leadership and has taught me how to research and present my information with creativity. Both my father and mother encourage me to think differently about the future and encourage me to make multiple attempts to change the world.
